Overview of Al-Asriya Company
Al-Asriya Company was established in 1946 by the first generation, beginning its journey in arak production through semi-manual methods. During its early years, the company faced many challenges and went through periods of financial and administrative hardship, showing only limited progress at times. Over the years, these difficulties grew, and by 1979, the company had reached a point of failure, mainly due to weak management at the time.
In 1980, the second generation, under the leadership of Mr. Adel Kacho, took over the company’s management, ushering in a new era of growth and reform. The new leadership succeeded in clearing all company debts by the end of 1984, paving the way for continuous progress. Over time, the company rose to become one of the leading names in its industry, known for the exceptional quality of its products.
As part of its expansion strategy, a new branch was opened in Erbil in 2013, achieving remarkable success. The company then expanded internationally with a second branch in Canada and a third in the United States, with plans to launch products in these markets during the first half of 2026.
Now, with the third generation assuming leadership, the company is set to continue advancing across all sectors, building on the administrative, financial, and industrial expertise gained from the previous generation — a continuation of a proud legacy marked by achievement and dedication, with confidence in a successful future ahead.
